Dear Reynold,
In this weekβs Action for Peace, we focus on efforts to:
π Demand a permanent ceasefire in Iran and Lebanon
π Prevent further humanitarian catastrophe in Sudan
π Confront escalating violence in the West Bank
π Deepen understanding of interconnected global struggles
Take Action
π DEMAND A PERMANENT CEASEFIRE IN IRAN &
LEBANON
Despite calls for de-escalation, violence continues to threaten millions of lives
across Iran and neighboring countries. Temporary pauses are fragile and
often exclude key regions, leaving civilians at risk. A comprehensive,
permanent ceasefire is essential to prevent further devastation and open the
door to diplomacy and long-term peace.
π Tell Congress: Permanent ceasefire now
Urge lawmakers to take immediate action to end the war and prioritize
diplomacy
π Tell Congress: A ceasefire must include Lebanon
Demand a comprehensive ceasefire that protects all civilians across borders
π ACT NOW: SUDAN HUMANITARIAN CRISIS
Sudan is currently facing the largest hunger crisis in the world, driven by
ongoing conflict between rival military forces. Millions have been displaced,
and over 14 million children are in urgent need of food, medical care, and
protection. Without immediate international action, the scale of suffering and
loss will continue to grow.
π Tell Secretary Rubio: Protect civilians and deliver aid to Sudan
Add your name to demand urgent humanitarian response and accountability

π Sudan & Palestine: Connected Struggles
Advocates and researchers are increasingly drawing connections between the
crises in Sudan and Palestine, pointing to shared patterns of displacement,
militarization, and lack of accountability. Understanding these links helps build
stronger global solidarity movements.

π West Bank: Escalating Settler Violence
In the occupied West Bank, settler violence and the expansion of outposts
continue to displace Palestinian communities and heighten tensions. Reports
document increasing attacks, land seizures, and the normalization of these
practices, raising urgent concerns about human rights and long-term stability.
