About the Event:
Binya Koatz, of Shel Maala, the online anti-Zionist Yeshiva, will be joining Beyt Tikkun for an evening of Radical Jewish text study. With Rosh Yeshiva Binya's insight and guidance, we'll spend a Sunday early-afternoon exploring an amazing piece of Talmud about exile, belonging and home, to see what our ancestors have to teach our movements, and how they can guide our imaginations, today. The text we're diving into asks the questions: What is home? Where is our home, and where do we come from? Can we ever truly go back to our source? How do we relate to diaspora in terrible times? If you've ever wanted to uncover the beauty of exile and the magic of returning to liberatory roots, this is the class for you.
