With Rabbi Cat Zavis and Reverend Leah Martins

Join us for a celebratory Kabbalat Shabbat, where will blend traditional Jewish prayers with inspiring songs of resistance that many of us have been singing at protests. We will dance, sing, and celebrate Shabbat as we call in the world to come.

Rev. Leah Martens is a singer-songwriter, musician, and the founding pastor of Haven Berkeley Faith Community, an inclusive, progressive independent spiritual community in Berkeley rooted in the Christian tradition. Over the last year, she had also been leading song regularly in the streets at vigils and actions in collaboration with Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity. Rabbi Cat and Rev Leah traveled together to MN, have been arrested together, and love making good trouble together!
