Join JVP Kids & Families, East Bay Families for Ceasefire, & Beyt Tikkun for this special family friendly Shabbat extravaganza in support of the Oakland Peoples’ Arms Embargo on Friday, November 14th.
5:30pm – Grand Lake Theater for flyering and banner drop for the Oakland Peoples’ Arms Embargo.
6:30pm – Kabbalat Shabbat – with additional kid-friendly programming – and vegetarian Shabbat Potluck with Beyt Tikkun at the First Unitarian Church of Oakland (865 14th Street Oakland). Option to start eating alongside Kabbalat Shabbat services for our kiddos and families that eat on the earlier side.

Come gather for spiritual nourishment, grounding, and community in these painful times. Offering a warm, welcoming space rooted in global liberation and spiritual growth, we’ll gather in community to welcome Shabbat with song, spirit, and reflection—followed by a shared meal.

Time: Doors open at 6:00pm. Services begin promptly at 6:30 PM.
Potluck: Following services, we’ll share a community meal. Please bring a vegan, gluten-free dish to contribute.
