We recognize that Covid and health safety are never 100%. Exposure and contact are at the very heart of live events. We realize that this makes it difficult for everyone who would like to participate in live events to do so. Our policies are guided by the recommendations of the CDC. We may, at times for specific events, ask people to follow stricter guidelines to accommodate greater accessibility.

In-person Covid protocols

  1. Individuals should not attend services in person if they have any respiratory or related symptoms, or is feeling sick. If someone is coughing or sneezing a lot (and they do not attribute the symptoms to allergy), then they will be asked to leave and attend online.
  2. We recommend that congregants wear masks.
  3. We will run fans and/or air filters in indoor spaces since air flow is an important protection.
  4. We will announce which events provide sufficient space that a person who is immunocompromised can be at least 6 feet from other people. Whenever possible we will use outdoor space that allow a 6 foot circumference around anyone who requires that distancing. Please note that when services are held at Rabbi Cat’s house, it is not possible to ensure that there will be at least 6 feet of space between people.
