Weekly Action for Peace: Stop War with Iran, Oppose Weapons Transfers, and Resist ICE Expansion

Dear Joseph,

In this week’s Action for Peace, we focus on efforts to:
🛑 Stop war with Iran and block further funding
💣 Oppose weapons transfers and expanding militarization
🧊 Resist ICE expansion in our communities
📚 Stay informed about the human impact of U.S. policy

Take Action

🛑 STOP WAR WITH IRAN - PASS A WARS POWER
RESOLUTION

Congress must act now to prevent further escalation, reassert its
constitutional authority, and reject billions in additional funding for an
expanding war.

👉 Sign: End the illegal war on Iran — Add your name to demand an
immediate halt to unauthorized military action
👉 Tell Congress: No troops in Iran, vote NO on the draft — Urge
lawmakers to block deployment of U.S. troops and oppose new war funding
👉 Take action: No war on Iran, no weapons for Israel, no ICE expansion
— Call for a broader shift away from militarization at home and abroad
👉 Call on Congress: Block emergency weapons shipments — Demand
lawmakers stop fast-tracked arms transfers that fuel further violence

💣 STOP WEAPONS TRANSFERS & REGIONAL ESCALATION

U.S. weapons and military support continue to drive violence and instability
across the region, deepening humanitarian crises. Demand an end to U.S.
complicity in widening regional conflict
👉 Tell Congress: End support for Israel’s invasion of Lebanon

🧊 STOP ICE EXPANSION IN OUR COMMUNITIES

From detention centers to airports, ICE is expanding its reach—threatening
immigrant communities and normalizing surveillance and enforcement.
Oppose the conversion of local spaces into sites of detention and push back
against the normalization of immigration enforcement in everyday travel
spaces
👉 Say NO to ICE detention centers
👉 Tell officials: Remove ICE agents from airports
