Weekly Action for Peace: Sanctions, Solidarity, and Sacred Repair.

In this week’s Action for Peace we focus on efforts to:
✍️ Sanction Israel and let aid reach Gaza’s children
🍉 Organize as a congregation to fast in protest and demand an arms embargo
🌾 Learn and pray as an act of sacred repair on Shavuot

Take Action

🍲SANCTION ISRAEL + LET FOOD AID INTO GAZA🍲

Sign this urgent global appeal to sanction Israel and let aid reach Gaza’s children. The UN just said another 14,000 babies could starve unless Israel lets food into Gaza. Sign to demand Israel ends the military offensive and lifts the aid blockade.

🤝 JOIN THE 40-DAY FAST FOR GAZA 🤝

Beyt Tikkun is joining a nationwide 40-day fast as a form of protest and collective prayer. Together, we demand: the immediate resumption of UN-led humanitarian aid to Gaza and that the U.S. stop arming Israel—now. Learn more about this action organized by Veterans for Peace here.

There is still time to sign up for one or more days to fast as part of the Beyt Tikkun community. We have one community member, Ray, fasting for all 40 days alongside others in New York. You can witness Ray’s fasting journey here.

👉 Sign up here to fast with us on a day or days of your choice, as part of our congregation and wider community.

🌾 Join Us for Shavuot: 26 Hours of Sacred Learning for Ceasefire and Collective Liberation
🗓 Saturday–Sunday, June 1–2 | 🕒 11:00 AM ET (8:00 AM PT) on June 1 to 1:00 PM ET (10:00 AM PT) on June 2

Join Rabbis for Ceasefire, The American Council for Judaism, Beyt Tikkun, and partner organizations around the world for a 26-hour virtual Tikkun Leyl Shavuot—an immersive Jewish learning experience and bold act of resistance in the face of genocide.

Through our 26 hours of learning together, we will:
🌍 Demonstrate the global Jewish solidarity with Palestine
🧭 Deepen relationships across continents
🕊️ Develop shared analyses, songs, interpretations of texts, and beyond to illuminate our path to liberation.

Jewish tradition offers that staying up all night to learn on Shavuot is a form of sacred repair, making up for times when we failed to rise to the occasion. This is the “tikkun” in Tikkun Leil Shavuot – a call to meet the moment and repair the world.

No prior Torah study experience required – all are welcome!

Beyt Tikkun is committed to a Judaism of love, justice, transformation, and liberation, including that of the Palestinian people and their land.
