Naomi Klein and Astra Taylor have coined a term – “end times fascism” – to describe a world-view which these forces share in certain strange ways. (read the full article in The Guardian here).

End times fascism reflects an extremely dark view of a future in which the wealthy retreat to bunker islands or even Mars, white people are besieged by marauding immigrant BIPOC hordes seeking escape from the ravages of climate change, and faithful Christians are raptured up to heaven leaving behind a world destroyed by hell-fire. And Israel imagines itself as a fortress ethno-state cleansed of Palestinians. The governing ideology of the far right has become a monstrous, supremacist survivalism. Our task is to build a movement strong enough to stop them.
