We are excited to invite you to join Rabbi Cat Zavis, Musical Director Ami Goodman, and the Beyt Tikkun Community for Our Liberation Seder.

WHEN: Saturday, April 27th, 2024 – 6:00pm (PDT) / 9:00pm (EDT)

WHERE: Hybrid – On Zoom and in Person at Northbrae Community Church on The Alameda near the corner of Solano Ave in Berkeley, CA.

Please register for the On-Site Seder NO LATER than Tuesday, April 16th.

Our Passover community seders have often been a spiritual high point for many of our attendees. They demonstrate how one can be deeply spiritual and also deeply committed to healing and transforming the world (tikkun olam). This Seder is not just for Jews, but for everyone who wishes to recommit to the struggles for liberation and participate in a Jewish ritual that is joyous, politically progressive, environmentally conscious, and spiritually meaningful.

Our Beyt Tikkun community Liberation Seder brings in creative elements including exercises, small group discussions, guided visualizations, song, and dance. We are so excited to be able to be in person again this year and to also be on Zoom so those of you who cannot join us in person can still participate in a meaningful way.

Come participate and revive your hopeful energies for the struggles ahead. For more information and to register, see below.

We will be holding our seder in person at Northbrae Community Church in Berkeley, CA. In addition to the traditional ritual foods for the seder, we will also be providing a catered vegetarian dinner from a wonderful local caterer. There is limited in-person space available, please register early to ensure your spot (no later than midnight PT, Wed., April 17th)!

In-person, Beyt Tikkun members – $40/person
In-person, NSP members – $45/person
In-person, Non dues-paying members – $50/person

Zoom Attendance – Beyt Tikkun members – $10/person
Zoom Attendance – NSP members – $12.00/person
Zoom Attendance – Non dues-paying members – $15/person

Once you register you will receive an email with the Zoom link. Please do not share with others.

** If you are able to donate more, we’d be most grateful. Our costs (the venue, food, staff, etc.) exceed the fees we are charging for the Seder. We will share a portion of any additional monies raised beyond our costs with organizations providing food to Gazans.

We can use some help to make our Seder run smoothly. If you are able to volunteer to help with the Seder, please email Dale at rabinovdj@gmail.com. We need folks to make some of the traditional foods, help with set-up and dismantling of the room, etc. Thank you.

We’d love to have you join us!
