This joyful\, kid-friendly gathering is for the whole community. \nWe’ll decorate the sukkah together with fruit and handmade decorations\, learn about what a sukkah is and why we build one\, and sing Shabbat songs. We’ll welcome Shabbat with candlelighting\, blessings\, and challah before sitting down to enjoy a meal together. \nBring your friends\, family\, kids\, and creativity—and a dish to share if you can. Come help us make the sukkah beautiful and welcome Shabbat as a community! \nItems to Bring or Prepare:  \n\nVegetarian dish to share\nAny supplies to decorate the sukkah\n\nAccessibility: \n\nWe will be gathering outside\nThere are 4 steps to enter the house and 4 steps to the backyard. You can enter the backyard through the driveway without any steps.\nThe bathroom is not wheelchair accessible.\nThere are folding chairs\, and floor pillows for seating. \nPlease try to be scent-free.\nNo shoes indoors\, if possible.\nA cat and a retriever/labrador dog live in the home. \nCOVID: Masks are optional.
