End-of-Year 2025 Giving

As we approach the end of 2025, I’m delighted to share that Beyt Tikkun has had an inspiring and impactful year—and we are poised to do even more in 2026/5786.

Our community continues to grow. Membership has risen to 145 and more than 286 people joined us for our High Holy Day services—both online (183) and in person here in Oakland (103). Throughout the year we held 26 Shabbat services and gathered joyfully for Sukkot, Hanukkah, Purim, and our community Passover seder.

Guided by our mission of Embracing Spirituality & Social Transformation, we showed up consistently for justice. Together we helped organize and participated in numerous pro-Palestine actions across the Bay Area, and Rabbi Cat was interviewed many times in the media. One of the moments we are most proud of was observing the second day of Rosh Hashanah in the streets—honoring tradition while standing publicly for our values. Over 200 people joined the action. The day began with teaching by Rabbi Cat on the story of the sacrifice of Isaac. We then went to the Oakland Airport and demonstrated our support for the Oakland Arms Embargo campaign to halt the flow of military supplies to Israel. This is one of several efforts we backed to help end the genocide in Gaza. It was a powerful expression of who we are as a spiritual and activist community.

While our accomplishments this year have been significant, we must also share an important challenge: we are currently operating at a deficit, and our reserves are shrinking. To sustain Beyt Tikkun’s growth, programming, and voice, we depend on your partnership.

As a Beyt Tikkun supporter you already know how essential steady support is to keeping our community thriving. If you are able, please consider becoming a monthly donor at $18, $36 or $50, or whatever fits your budget. Alternatively, if it’s easier for you, a generous one-time year-end contribution at whatever level fits for you would also be deeply appreciated.

You can also send a check to Beyt Tikkun at 861 45th Street, Emeryville, CA 94608. If you want assistance making your donation, please contact Alden at alden@beyttikkun.org.

With deep gratitude for all you make possible,

P.S. In keeping with our Jewish values, Beyt Tikkun donates a portion of all event revenue to tzedakah—and we are proud to pay our staff and contractors a living wage. Your support sustains these commitments and strengthens our community.
