Torah Study | Ki Tavo

Our Torah portion this week is filled with some wonderful teachings and challenges. It tells us to always remember our humble beginnings – we were slaves. As prior slaves, we are to remember and care for the needy. What does that look like today? Are we embodying this mitzvah? We also read about a theatrical enactment on two mountain tops with one group calling out the curses we will endure if we do not follow the teachings and the other group calling out the blessings that will flow if we follow the teachings. What would that look like today if we took this kind of embodied action and actually cried out for all to hear?
